Dad prayed long and hard yesterday and has decided to keep up the fight and begin radiation soon. He will remain in Freedom Inn where they can also continue to care for him. Dad had a very good day today as their special friends Ray and Judy came today for lunch with homemade Roast Beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. This was specials reward for Dadnwalking about 6 feet on Friday with a walker. Today was also a fun filled day as it was Route 66 day at Freedom Village with special food and entertainment from the 50s. Large numbers of guests were present. Visitors are always welcome to see Dad but we ask that you limit your visit times to 5-10 minutes.

Mel,
So glad to hear you are feeling good. Also glad to hear you are seeing visitors.
I want you to know that many people within Pfizer are praying for you. Pfizer has a Global Prayer Ministry made up of Christians from around the globe. Someone from the Holland facility shared a prayer concern about you and now people in Kalamazoo, Groton, LaJolla, CA, Sandwich, ENGLAND, Bombay, INDIA, and elsewhere are praying with you and for you. I will continue to pray for you.
Blessing in Christ,
Mike Short
